Tending the conditions that make people want to reach toward each other over time.
🌿 Where This Work Matters:
I pay attention to the relational life around communities, gatherings, programs, and small teams, especially the places where people are meant to keep finding their way toward one another.
Maybe people are showing up, but not quite becoming known. Maybe a community is growing and some of its warmth is getting harder to tend. Maybe the formal programming works, but what happens around it needs more care: the arrivals, transitions, conversations, and follow-through.
Depending on what’s needed, I could contribute through facilitation, community or member experience, relational strategy, recurring programming, hosting and stewardship, or fractional/project-based collaboration.
🕺How This Work Moves:
I tend to begin by paying attention to what’s already happening.
What feels alive? Where is there friction? Who has found their way in, and who is still at the edge? What happens before, between, and after the moments everyone planned for?
I listen.
I notice.
I reflect things back.
I follow threads.
I make connections.
I bring enough structure to help people feel oriented, while leaving enough room for something unexpected to emerge.
The shape of the work depends on the people and the context. I don’t want to impose a solution before I understand what’s already there.
